The "sexy fishnets" meme invokes a stereotype of third-wave feminism as sexualized and superficial that's often used to dismiss young feminists. For me, if indeed I belong to the third wave, it is much more about inhabiting those interstitial spaces and about an expanded focus to issues that aren't specifically "feminist" at first glance. (On the other hand, within those spaces, it becomes clear that things like pornography, sex work, or sexualized femininity are not automatically forms of oppression.)Cliohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13061597496715653353noreply@blogger.com
